Tim Stephenson has over 15 years of capital markets experience focused on the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Gran Tierra, Mr. Stephenson was Vice President of Corporate Development at i3 Energy. Previously he held roles including Manager of Corporate Development at Razor Energy, was the founding partner and Principal of Energy Investment Banking at Eight Capital, and the Director of Energy Investment Banking at Dundee Securities. He also spent five years as an equity research analyst with Hesperian Capital Management and the NORREP Group of Funds. Mr. Stephenson holds an undergraduate degree from the University of King’s College and a Master’s degree from the University of Calgary.
