At Gran Tierra Energy, we celebrate the season by honouring connections that matter. This year, we’re proud to highlight our Hilos de la Tierra program—a collaborative initiative with the World Corporation for Women in Colombia, which aims to recover ancestral practices through the creation of handcrafted designs using recycled materials and innovative techniques in design.
The project is aimed at improving the incomes of participants and addresses gender bias in traditional family dynamics with women making up 91% of the participants. The handcrafted products reflect the culture, traditional practices, and history of local Indigenous, Afro-Caribbean and rural communities from Putumayo, Cesar and Santander.
This year, for the Christmas season, we wanted to give you the opportunity to choose from a selection of unique, handcrafted gifts created by the Hilos de la Tierra artisans. Each piece reflects their dedication, rich traditions and commitment to preserving their cultural heritage.
Below is our registry featuring three Christmas gift options. We invite you to choose the one you like best for yourself or your loved ones and we will send you the gift in January 2025. Please submit your request no later than January 10th, 2025. This gift is non-transferable and intended for the recipient only.
